GeneWise Coaching (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. Because we work with genetic and health information — some of the most sensitive data there is — we want to be clear about what we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. This Privacy Policy applies to our website and our coaching Services.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and personalize our Services — including analyzing your genetic data, preparing your reports, delivering coaching, communicating with you, processing payments, and improving our Services. We use health and genetic data only to provide the coaching and analysis you have requested.

3. How We Protect Your Information

Client information, intake forms, reports, and messaging are managed through Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant practice management platform, and we follow HIPAA-aligned privacy and security practices. Payments are encrypted and handled by Stripe. We limit access to your information to what is necessary to deliver the Services. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data.

4. How We Share Your Information — and What We Never Do

We do not sell your genetic or personal data. We never share your genetic data with health, life, disability, or long-term care insurers, with employers, or with any other third party without your written consent.

We share information only as needed to run the Services, including with:

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may ask us to delete your genetic data and other personal information at any time (see “Your Choices” below), and we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal and genetic data, and you may withdraw consent for us to process it (which may mean we can no longer provide the Services). To make a request, contact us at Erin@genewise.info. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, let you know where practical.
